Day 1: Zanzibar to Selous game reserve
Your adventure begins with a 6:00 AM pick-up from your Hotel in Zanzibar, followed by a flight to Selous Game Reserve, the flight takes 50 minutes. You’ll arrive at Selous around 7:00 AM and embark on a full-day game drive, complete with a boxed lunch. In the evening, enjoy dinner and stay overnight at Selous Kinga Lodge.
Day 1: exploring the park’s
Upon landing at Selous, your experienced guide will lead you on a safari game drive through the reserve. Selous Game Reserve is known for its remarkable wildlife diversity, including lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, and a multitude of bird species. Be prepared to witness the splendors of the African wilderness up close.
Day 2: Explore Selous game resrve
After breakfast, you’ll embark on a thrilling boat safari. Later, you’ll have lunch at the lodge and set out on a 2-hour walking safari. At 4:00 PM, it’s time to depart for Zanzibar, arriving at 5:30 PM. Our driver will be waiting to pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel.
Return to Zanzibar:
After a day filled with exploration and wildlife encounters, you’ll catch an evening flight back to Zanzibar, concluding your Selous Day Trip. Selous Game Reserve’s landscapes are stunning, with vast plains, lush woodlands, and the enchanting backdrop of the Rufiji River. Don’t forget your camera; there are countless photo opportunities.
